The Council of the College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala held its fifth session for the current academic year yesterday, Wednesday, 12/27/2023, headed by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Raouf Rashid Al-Ta’ma, and in the presence of the Dean’s Assistants and all members of the Council who are the heads of the scientific branches of the College.

The meeting included discussion of many important matters, including: the timing and mechanism of this year’s quarterly exams and the necessity of creating the appropriate exam environment for their performance. The timing of the spring break was also discussed, as well as the discussion of requests to reduce tuition fees for parallel education in preliminary studies at the college.

The meeting also included a discussion of the college’s electronic attendance program, with attention to completing all the necessary infrastructure for its activation and approval according to the directives of the presidency of the University of Karbala, in addition to emphasizing the wearing of modest clothing by students inside the university campus and taking care of the general appearance in a way that suits Karbala’i public taste.
