The Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala won first place among the scientific departments in the colleges of Islamic sciences in Iraq for the Iraqi classification of scientific departments for the year 2023 AD.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abboud Al-Taie, stressed that this achievement will provide an aspect of motivation and competition in institutional and program performance and represents a suitable environment and climate for formulating outputs that suit development requirements.
For his part, the head of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, Dr. Muhammad Nazem, indicated that the department’s first place came due to the efforts of colleagues and teachers and their full commitment to holding seminars, conferences, workshops, and writing scientific research.
