The College of Dentistry at the University of Karbala participated in the examination for the Innovation and Excellence Award in Iraq, as dentist Masooma Sahib Saleh, one of the first graduates of the college, obtained an advanced rank in the exam, as hundreds of first graduates from all public and private dental colleges in Iraq participated for the academic year 2022 – 2023, by performing the Creativity and Excellence Award exam, which was held in the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the supervision of the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Dentistry in Iraq.

This exam represents a strong incentive for students to develop their skills and improve their performance. It also allows the college to evaluate the quality of education, stimulate academic competitiveness, and push students towards academic excellence and continuous development in their educational journey. The award is an important contribution to enhancing the medical education environment in Iraq and supporting its outcomes.
