The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saeedi, signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with the President of the University of Heir al-Anbiya, Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri.

The twinning agreement includes a number of basic paragraphs, including conducting joint research and scientific publishing in scientific journals within international databases, as well as joint supervision and the use of specialized laboratories.

The agreement comes to raise the level of the two universities and open horizons for cooperation in academic fields, and cooperation on developing plans and vocabulary that contribute to serving the educational process.

The University President, Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saeedi, stated that the University of Karbala has many memorandums of scientific understanding with public and private universities to serve the research and community fields.

For his part, the President of the University of Heir al-Anbiya, Dr. Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayawi, thanked the University of Karbala for its scientific cooperation at all levels, expressing his hope that this agreement will contribute to strengthening and developing academic outputs.
