The Division of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up at the University of Karbala organized the final debate between the two teams of students from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the College of Education for Human Sciences, in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, and a number of college deans and professors.

The competition, in which a number of students from all university colleges participated, aimed to raise their cultural level by instilling a spirit of competition, refining dialogue skills, as well as enabling them to persuade, build arguments, and refute them.

The debate witnessed a great competition between students of the Colleges of Education for Humanities and Veterinary Medicine, ending with the latter winning first place in two consecutive rounds.

It is noteworthy that the winning team in the Student World Cup will represent the University of Karbala in the university debates next year.
