A master’s thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala discussed the significance of morphology in the poetry of Hazem Rashk Al-Tamimi, submitted by the student Anwar Hamid Muhammad.
The importance of the study stems from the importance of the poet himself, as he sought to interrogate words through their morphological and semantic derivations, in addition to the distinction of his poetry: the ease of words and the abundance of expressions, which reveals the richness of his linguistic dictionary.
The study used the descriptive analytical method based on reading poetic texts, examining morphological structures, and analyzing their significance through the morphological meanings they carry, using poetic contexts, speech clues, and occasions of saying.
The study concluded that the poet Hazem Rashk Al-Tamimi possesses cognitive and linguistic richness, and the ability to employ linguistic vocabulary, which led to the diversity of his morphological forms and connotations.
