The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala organized a workshop to support the family against the scourge of drugs.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the drug phenomenon and explain its causes, mentioning its effects and means of protecting the family from this phenomenon.

The workshop included many topics, the most important of which was explaining the phenomenon of drug abuse and its causes, the position of the Iraqi legislator on drug crime, and addressing the drug phenomenon by supporting the family.

The workshop recommended the need to work on disseminating early awareness campaigns for young people to avoid them becoming victims of this phenomenon.
