Karbala University students organized a campaign to distribute a number of Ramadan food baskets to needy families in the province.
The campaign witnessed wide participation by students of the faculties of dentistry, physical education, sports sciences, engineering and pharmacy. It was funded by the Dean of the College of Dentistry and a number of faculty, staff and students. It included the distribution of more than seventy food baskets to needy families and orphans.
The items of the food baskets varied between oils, grains, and dry foodstuffs that would ease the burdens of needy families at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
