The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala organized the World University Debates with the participation of four teams of college students.

The World Cup aims to form a scientific team to hone dialogue skills, advance the youth class, enhance public speaking skills and the ability to persuade, achieve awareness, and raise the cultural level of Iraqi university students.

Four teams were nominated, with three debaters per team, to compete for first place. Six debaters representing the College of Education for Human Sciences team were nominated in accordance with the decisions of the jury to participate in the University World Cup.

It is noteworthy that the World University Debates World Cup is a cultural competition between students of Iraqi public and private universities.
